Across the United States there are many blind and visually impaired individuals both young and old that participate in athletics programs. In El Paso up to now there has not been those opportunities available for these individuals. CEVI is planning to bring these and possibly other athletic programs to our blind community.

These programs will be geared to improve the physical and mental well being of the individuals who participate in them. By offering both recreational and competitive sports CEVI hopes to bring the sighted and blind communities together to offer a means by which people can come together in fellowship to better their physical and mental health.
